PROSTHODONTICS
Crowns. Bridges. Veneers. Dentures.
Crown is placed on a natural tooth that is damaged,
weakened or aesthetically unacceptable.
Depending on the material, it can be metal-ceramic,
zircon-ceramic or made of completely metal-free ceramics.
The bridge is made in case when one or more teeth are
missing whereby it is necessary to have a sufficient number
of healthy abutment teeth.
Like crowns, bridges can be made of metal-ceramics,
zircon-ceramics or complete (metal-free) ceramics.
Veneers are very thin ceramic substitutes that are made
to correct minor irregularities in the area of the front teeth.
They are made of complete ceramics.
Prostheses they can be partial and total dentures.
They are made of acrylate, they can have a metal base.
Combined work is a combination of fixed and mobile prosthetics. One part of the tooth (where there are enough bracket teeth) wears bridge, and the rest a prosthesis.
Advantage over full or partial dentures is that there are no visible denture clasps. That is, they are built into the joint between the bridge and the prosthesis and are not visible from the outside.
